(The Hosting News) – Aiming for expanded services, web provider Hosting.com announced that it had acquired hosting provider Neospire recently.
With the move, the company says Neospire customers will gain access to Hosting.com services such as their Cloud Replication solution.
Commenting on the matter in a press release, Hosting.com CEO Art Zeile stated, “The synergistic relationship between NeoSpire’s managed hosting services, including managed security, application hosting, database administration, exchange hosting, SaaS hosting and colocation work well within the current and future direction of Hosting.com’s strategic plans.”
Zeile went on to emphasize NeoSpire’s “extensive security operations and expertise.”
Not only does the move give Hosting.com additional services by NeoSpire, it also provides Hosting.com additional data center space to back the services up. According to the press release, facilities now under Hosting.com are present in locations such as Dallas, San Francisco, and more.
Aside from managed hosting, Neospire specializes in compliance and data security.
Hosting.com provides a range of services including colocation, cloud, dedicated, data storage, domain registration, and more.
Meanwhile, Neospire CEO Mitch Gervis expressed optimism concerning the move, stating, “This transaction with an industry leader creates a winning combination for our customers and the NeoSpire team.”
In late June, Hosting.com made news by announcing a partnership with virtualization provider VMware. The two worked together to make the company’s Cloud Replication solution available.
