(The Hosting News) – Content Management AG (CM-AG), a leading provider of web-based applications and value-added services, is proud to announce that Alfahosting GmbH recently signed a multi-year OEM partner agreement for CM4all Sites. Founded in 1999, the company with headquarters in Halle, Germany, is a long-standing OEM partner of CM-AG and has been marketing CM4all WebsiteCreator and CM4all OnlineDrive since 2008.
“The decision to further extend the partnership with CM-AG was based on the positive experiences we have had with CM4all products over the last several years. The products are developed specifically for the OEM business and provide us as a partner with the necessary interfaces, APIs, and tools to adapt them to our requirements and integrate them into our system environment. The most convincing advantage of CM4all Sites is its new ability to be completely tailored to individual target groups and industries. This will make it even easier for our customers to create and update a professional website on their own in the future,” explains Moritz Bartsch, Managing Director of Alfahosting GmbH.
CM4all Sites delivers numerous innovations, including an instant setup page, an enhanced WYSIWYG editor, and a comprehensive file browser with an interactive drop zone. Thanks to CM4all’s new widget technology, users at all levels will be able to integrate sophisticated features into their websites ranging from contact forms through weather forecasts to social media connectivity with Twitter® and Facebook®. Additionally, CM4all Sites is designed with an open widget API. Combined with the new Widget Developer Network, this enables the integration of third-party services and allows for continuous development of widgets by CM-AG, OEM partners, and external software engineers. Developed with usability in mind, all of these innovations were introduced with the ultimate goal of allowing SMBs and consumers to use the application intuitively, getting them up and running quickly, and saving precious time by avoiding the steep learning curve required by some competitor products. With CM4all Sites, users create a professional looking website within minutes.
“We are pleased that Alfahosting has once again placed its trust in our products and look forward to collaborating on another launch of CM4all Sites in our home market of Germany. CM4all Sites is an ideal supplement to Alfahosting’s customer-centric product portfolio and will contribute significantly to the success and strength of the partnership between our companies,” says Robert Schovenberg, CEO of Content Management AG.
In the coming weeks, CM4all Sites will be adapted to Alfahosting’s corporate design, installed in a German-language version in the company’s data center, and integrated into its system environment.
