Rackspace Managed Hosting
today announced that it has successfully completed an examination in
conformity with the Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70),
Type II report that was performed by independent auditor, Ernst &
Young LLP.SAS 70 is an internationally recognized auditing
standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public

evaluated and meet SAS 70 standards. The audit evaluated Rackspace’s
controls related to service delivery and operations, infrastructure
maintenance, customer implementation, change management, backup of
programs and data files and logical and physical data center access.
