Verio Named Top Web Hosting Solutions Provider

Verio, a subsidiary of NTT Communications and a leader in global IP solutions, today announced that it has been recognized by industry organizations in several categories for its hosting solutions, including the top dedicated hosting and top e-commerce solutions by Web Host Directory, a vendor-neutral website that enables businesses to research and compare hosting offerings.

Web Host Directory presents monthly awards to Web hosting providers in each of several categories. Verio was ranked No. 1 through a tabulation of votes received from site visitors, as well as from the site's Review Board, which evaluates candidates in performance, cost, features, support, reliability and speed. The site noted Verioâ€™s global reach and array of services, including managed hosting solutions, security and backup services, as well as monitoring and maintenance.

In addition to being named as the top provider in both categories, Verio was twice named the top shared hosting provider in recent months and was also ranked by Netcraft as one of the most reliable web host sites during February.
