(The Hosting News) – With an already populated field of website builders, many companies are looking to bring something new to the table. One of those is Breezi which earlier this month unveiled its cPanel plugin during cPanel’s annual conference in Houston, Texas.
The product initially launched in March and has been marketed mainly towards designers. But it’s already picking up steam with now over forty partners signed up and offering the service through hosting plans.
When designing the product, those behind the site builder saw a chance to provide more flexibility and the need to not be restricted by rigid templates
And through its availability, full customization is provided to more than fifty thousand individual customers.
A New Way of Paying
The flexibility is also prominent in another very significant area: the solution’s payment model.
“We’ve made very flexible upgrade options for customers. There’s a Starter plan for $2.99 per month, but then we also have a Business plan where we offer a pay-as-you-go billing option. Customers can pay just $1 per hour of logged in use – tracked down to the minute – and get full access to all of our premium features included in the Business plan. It’s great for casual users who don’t update their site too often, but still need a full Business plan, with unlimited pages and lots of other advanced features,” commented the company’s Chris Anderson during October’s cPanel Conference in Houston Texas.
The flexibility is so precise, it appears to utilize the clock to the fullest extent. “They won’t get billed a certain amount each month. It’s literally down to the minute, how much time you spend in the editor,” Anderson continued.
As for the cPanel plugin, the company thought it’d be best to make it free for hosting companies to install. Anderson emphasized that it’s a straight forward model offering entry use.
Operation relies on four command lines, allowing hosting partners to opt in, sign up and receive affiliate revenue sharing, where hosts keep 20% of all recurring revenue collected from customers, and 10% from all their resellers’ customers. Using Post Affiliate Pro, statistical tracking is made possible.
With the site builder, users are provided a visual editor. Primary functions include uploading, changing images and text.
Another key tool is Breezi’s complete layout builder. With it, users can add new columns; adjust the width along with tweaking their website’s look and feel. After the customization process, it’s easy to publish.
Other highlights include 500+ web fonts, an image editor, SEO controls, custom HTML embedding and its own app store.
The Push to Mobile
Anyone who keeps up with the current tech market knows it’s increasingly drifting towards tablet and touchscreen capabilities. A mobile device optimizer is a significant part of the service.
“Device Optimizer identifies the mobile device someone is viewing a site on, and wraps new functionality around each app on the fly, to optimize the user experience and content interactions for that particular device,” comments the company through its website (breezi.com).
Breezi has already been applauded by some top players in the hosting industry.
“The ability to design elegant, professional and beautiful websites has always been a rarity amongst website builders. However with Breezi, the only limitation is users’ creativity &imagination. We’re thrilled to be able to provide Breezi to all our hosting customers, and look forward to a prosperous relationship with Breezi,” commented InnoHosting founder Rameen Vaswani earlier this month in a company press release announcing the cPanel plugin.
So what makes Breezi a winner in a site builder market currently dominated by other top players? There are two key features afforded to users and both emphasize flexibility. The actual design capabilities along with the pay-as-you-go structure appear to be the answers with this increasingly popular platform.
