(The Hosting News) – CentriLogic, a leading provider of international hybrid hosting, cloud computing, and data center solutions, announced today that it has completed the Statement of Standards on Attestation Engagements No. 16 Type II audit.
CentriLogic’s SSAE 16 Type II report was completed by global accounting firm Grant Thornton LLP and consisted of a rigorous and in-depth assessment of the internal controls, policies, and procedures related to CentriLogic’s international services and facilities. The audit was completed over a defined time period, with auditors working with CentriLogic’s staff to inspect facilities, review policies and procedures, and test all internal systems and controls.
After fulfilling all SSAE 16 Type II requirements evaluated during this time period, the internal controls, policies, and procedures of CentriLogic were confirmed as being SSAE 16 Type II compliant with a clean report free of any exceptions.
SSAE 16 Type II completion assures customers that CentriLogic’s controls and policies remain consistent throughout all facilities. “Completion of the SSAE 16 Type II audit further supports our dedication towards implementing comprehensive controls and policies throughout all aspects of our business” said Robert Offley, President and CEO of CentriLogic. “We are constantly providing our customers with services and solutions defined by industry-leading standards and practices, enabling them to achieve peace of mind and competitive advantages in their respective markets.”
SSAE 16 was finalized by the Auditing Standards Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) with the purpose of complying with the new International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) 3402, assurance reports on controls at a service organization. SSAE 16 Type II supersedes the SAS 70 Type II audit standards, which CentriLogic completed in 2011.
