CenturyLink recently announced their desire to sell the massive data centers they currently own and operate. The telecommunications company won’t be sustaining the data center service business any long and has hired financial advisors to help with finding alternative owners for their nearly 60 data centers.
They own data centers in the US, Europe and Asia with more than 180 MW of power and more than 2.6 million square feet of total space. Not all of the facilities are owned by CenturyLink. Some are simply leased.
