(The Hosting News) – Two people wearing Video Name Tags by The Recom Group at last week’s CES show created so much attention, security had to be brought in. Recom employees Tony Kuo and Shawn Jackson were wearing a new product called the Video Name Tag in front of the massive Sony booth, causing such a commotion from the gathering crowd that the mob scene was interfering with nearby foot traffic.

When the security officials attempted to remove the exhibitors from the hall in front of the Sony booth, they were declined. Apparently Rob Norden, the CEO of Recom Group (the manufacturer) was about to do a live television interview on the Sony Broadcast Stage. Instead, all three were asked to move away from the intersection and remain on top of the stage balcony. They encountered more problems as visitors inside the Sony Booth were quickly distracted by the three wearing the Video Name Tag on stage. Even Sony employees were seen marveling at this new product.

Earlier in the show, security was also alerted at the Intel booth where two of the Video Name Tag exhibitors created such a stir it actually interrupted a live televised broadcast of the Mario Armstrong Show. Video footage of this happening can be seen at this link:http://www.recomgroup.com/disturbance_at_ces.htm

Recom Group showcased their full line up of personal signage starting with their original Video Name Tag. This is a 2.8” OLED display that attaches to your clothing with a simple magnetic clip. Powered by an internal lithium battery, it will run the high brightness screen easily for 6 to 8 hours on a single charge. Some videos have actually exceeded 20 hours on a single charge. 2GB of internal storage provides plenty of capacity for video content. The system even boasts the ability to create playlists to control your content.

In addition to the original Video Name Tag, Recom Group also showcased their all new Video Wrist Band, Video Buckle and Video Bling.

Attendees at the show were heard saying…
“One of the most innovative products at the show”…”Best thing we’ve seen”
Greg Tarr with Twice Magazine: “One of the biggest head turners at CES”
CNN Correspondent Dan Simon: “One of my favorites at the show”. Dan Simon proceeded to wear the Video Name Tag all day during his multiple broadcasts on Friday.

The Video Name Tag created so much attention that it caught the eye of a top CBS executive who then quickly brought it to the CNET Live Stage. The producer of the CNET show immediately added it to Dan Ackerman’s Digital City Show. Even major rapper 50 Cent was caught up in the excitement and seen taking one of the Video Wrist Bands from Shawn Jackson after exiting his interview on the CNET Stage.

Recom Group and their Video Name Tag closed a major deal with one of the largest restaurant chains in the world. More details on this will be forthcoming.

Recom Group has distribution worldwide for the Video Name Tag.
