(The Hosting News) – Cloud storage provider Nirvanix recently announced that it had hired Paul Froutan as its new Chief Technology Officer.
Froutan started out at Rackspace Hosting and then moved up, working at Google as the company’s Head of Global Data Center Infrastructure. During his time with Google, Froutan was responsible for making sure Google’s global data centers ran efficiently.
Commenting on the matter, Nirvanix CEO Scott Genereux stated, “With Paul’s strong background in managed services and data center efficiency, we’re now in a position to further expand our market presence and help even more enterprise customers make the shift to the enterprise cloud.”
As the company’s new CTO, Froutan will be responsible for overseeing Nirvanix’s cloud infrastructure.
Some of Nirvanix’s clients include Fortune 500 companies. The company is headquartered in San Diego, California.
