To combat low public awareness of new TLDs (top-level domain), .cloud is running an ad spot on CNN. The ad will be shown in both the US and Asia as a partnership with domain giant GoDaddy.
Since the .cloud official launched in February, more than 70,000 domains have registered. .Cloud has been used by businesses of all types and sizes, in 140 countries.
The television ad invites viewers to visit GoDaddy.cloud to drive awareness and growth in adoption of the domain extension.
