(The Hosting News) – During the Holiday season, many companies ushered away 2012 by reflecting on things accomplished during the past year.
For web accelerator platform CloudFlare, statistics were rather staggering. During the course of the year, over 679 billion page views were served from the company’s services.
CloudFlare provides a CDN, optimizer, security, analytics, apps, all promising more efficient website performances.
Other statistics revealed in a blog post noted that the company had added ten data centers during the year, 573 thousand plus websites signed up for the service and 43.6 worth of petabytes were saved in bandwidth.
“We also saved a ton of time that those Internet users would have otherwise spent waiting for websites to load. If you add up all the time that people would have spent waiting for websites to load had CloudFlare not existed in 2012, you get more than 891 lifetimes worth of time saved. We’re really proud of that,” stated the company via a blog post.
Meanwhile, CloudFlare signaled it would add even more additions during 2013.
