(The Hosting News) – James Goldman, former Vice President, Marketing Cloud Trust & Business Information Security Officer at ExactTarget, has joined Indianapolis-based CloudOne (http://www.OnCloudOne.com) as Chief Trust and Security Officer effective October 1, 2014. In his newly created role at CloudOne, the world leader in cloud delivery of IBM software as a Service (SaaS), Goldman will assume responsibility for defining and managing the information security strategy for the organization, including ensuring that all appropriate technical and administrative information technology resources and data are secure.

Prior to joining ExactTarget, Goldman served as Professor and Head of the Purdue Malware Lab in the Department of Computer & Information Technology at Purdue University where he founded the Network Engineering Technology program. He has over 20 years of experience in network engineering, security, and computer crime investigation.
Goldman is a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) with advanced training in computer forensics and has served as a Task Force Officer detailed to the FBI Cyber Crime Task Force.
He has passed the certification exam for ISO27001 (Information Security Management System) Lead Auditor. He is an internationally published author with market leading textbooks in data communications and networking.
Goldman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst; Masters in Science Education at Boston University; and Masters of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Southern New Hampshire University.
