(The Hosting News) – New security fixes are available for several versions of cPanel & WHM, cPanel announced via its website on Tuesday.
The updates pertain to releases 11.30, 11.32 and 11.34.
“cPanel has released new builds for all public update tiers. These updates provide targeted changes to address security concerns with the cPanel & WHM product. These builds are currently available to all customers via the standard update system,” stated the company via its website.
Administrators, however, shouldn’t have to do any work implementing the updates. The fixes should be automatic unless users have the setting disabled and configured to manual.
cPanel regularly analyzes its releases for quality and assurance purposes, issuing timely corrections.
The company’s latest release, cPanel & WHM 11.34 features a number of notable additions including email archiving, manage hooks UI along with the ability for users to submit multiple remote API functions.
New details regarding the security updates will be made available tomorrow via email. The top hosting control panel company is set to host its eighth annual cPanel Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 30, 2013.
