(The Hosting News) – Web hosting control panel provider cPanel lost a key member of its team this week.
The company’s Senior Technical Product Specialist David Grega passed away on Tuesday, causing an outpouring of remembrance from those who appreciated his contributions in life.
Grega was an integral part of cPanel, often times overseeing partner training for cPanel & WHM, managing accounts and making numerous appearances for the company at industry events.
“No matter how busy things were, he always took the time to help out with a problem,” read a cPanel email regarding Grega’s passing.
“In many ways, David was “Mr. cPanel,”” stated another portion of cPanel’s email. Grega is survived by a recently born daughter and a girlfriend. To provide support for them, cPanel recently worked to set up a memorial fund via gofundme.com where users are able to provide donations.
