(The Hosting News) – Cloud service provider Datapipe on Tuesday announced its acquisition of startup company Newvem for an undisclosed amount.
Newvem specializes in operations optimization and cloud usage analytics.
Datapipe CEO Robb Allen noted the acquisition was aligned with his company’s “commitment to be the industry leader in managed cloud services for the enterprise.”
“Combining Datapipe’s proven enterprise IT and cloud services with Newvem’s cloud optimization platform provides our clients with 360 degree insight into cloud operations and optimization,” Allen went on to say through a press release.
Datapipe, meanwhile, emphasized that customers can immediately benefit from the acquisition in areas including AWS options such as purchasing, costs and usage, AWS optimization and the ability to solve entperprise governance needs.
In July, Datapipe was named to CRN’s Solution Provider 500 list.
