Help.com has announced that Dave Koston to be their new VP of Engineering. Help.com is a customer service software startup that is based out of Austin, Texas and is backed up with $6million in funding. Koston is moving to Help.com from cPanel and will be bringing 15 years of enterprise technology experience to help.com.
At cPanel, he was the former VP of Operations and helped grow the company in revenue and up to 75 employees which made it one of the leading web hosting control panel solutions in the world. From there, Koston was at CloudFlare in which he led a TLS team whose work was to manage SSL Certificates for millions of customers.
After working in these areas before Help.com, Koston was able to work on building products used by millions of website owners and now he will be able to bring that skill set to Help.com in which customers use products for hours each day in performing their jobs.
