(The Hosting News) – Data center provider Digital Realty on Thursday announced the acquisition of a development property located in Ontario, Canada.
The cost comes for $8.65 million in Canadian currency.
Currently accounted for at the property is a warehouse and office space. However, Digital Realty intends to provide 5.4 megawatts via a data center design.
“The acquisition of this property expands our existing footprint and enables us to support our customers’ data center requirements in the Toronto market,” commented Digital Realty CEO Michal F. Foust in a press release.
