(The Hosting News) – Kevin Valadez, Co-President of Enterhost, announced that the company has launched a new cloud-based IT product line geared towards business solutions, including phone (Lync 2013 Enterprise Voice) and email systems (Exchange 2013), server and application hosting, backup, disaster recovery, and virtualization. The repositioning also includes a new, jargon-free, easy to understand brand and web site, which is being unveiled online this week while Mr. Valadez and Co-President Ben Tiblets are attending the 2013 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston.
Mr. Valadez and Mr. Tiblets founded Enterhost as a hosting company in 2000. Since then, the Microsoft Gold partner has evolved with technology as IT has continued to cement its place at the epicenter of business.
“We are always looking at ways we can improve our offerings, and as our customers have recovered from the recent economic downtown, we realized they needed different solutions to improve their operations,” said Mr. Valadez. “From small- to medium-sized businesses to our enterprise-level clientele, our customers were asking for functional products that heighten collaboration, protect assets and streamline costs.”
With its roots in hosting and cloud infrastructure, Enterhost leadership felt uniquely suited to provide today’s virtual and cost-conscious offices with IT solutions, freeing customers from constraints.
“Our clients want to be able to work from anywhere without diminished team productivity. They want to backup and know their data is complete, secure, and there when they need it. They don’t want to buy more hardware than is necessary,” stated Mr. Valadez. “Our expertise in cloud technology provides a platform for hostingphone and email systems, servers and applications in the cloud, as well as offering scalable backup, disaster recovery and virtualization solutions. Together, these products enable our customers to create as virtual an office as they desire.”
According to the company, customers are surprised to learn that most applications and servers that were formerly required to run in the office can now run in the cloud.
Mr. Valadez continued, “we retooled our products to propel customer teams forward, unshackle them from their desks, strengthen local and virtual communication, and protect our clients’ bottom lines.”
Mr. Tiblets reported that the Enterhost team took advantage of the repositioning process to strip away any language or knowledge barriers that may impede a customer from making the right decision for his or her company. To support companies that need expert IT solutions but lack a resident technical expert, Enterhost created a company mascot.
“Some business owners benefit from having a human element they can relate to as they navigate the often-murky waters of making decisions around IT for their companies,” said Mr. Tiblets. “We designed Tech Tom to be inclusive and straight-talking, guiding our customers to the right technology for their businesses.”
“Our goal is to provide any business, whether it has 20 desktops or 1,000, with practical, effective ways to leverage technology to compete in today’s marketplace,” concluded Mr. Tiblets.
