(The Hosting News) – A new virtual machine (VM) deployment platform was recently unveiled by British-based hosting provider eUKhost.
From an interface, users can complete VM tasks such as deployment and management.
The cloud solution known as eNlight is based around a “pay-as-you-go payment model.”
Discussing the matter in a press release, eUKhost Business Development Manager Stanley Jones stated, “Customer demands are changing rapidly and the need for scalability and redundancy are the primary concerns that are gaining importance increasingly. Moreover, affordable cloud hosting and pay-per-use are the features that customers associate with cloud hosting these days.”
“To keep up with the changing trends in the industry, we have deployed a pay-per-use payment model where a customer would only have to pay for the resources that they actually use instead of paying a fixed monthly fees,” Jones went on to say.
Specifically, the platform moves additional resources to back the virtual machine when demand increases. When demands slows down, resources are moved away, thus saving the resources.
Meanwhile, eNlight provides users with a prediction tool, allowing them to anticipate bill pricing based upon use. Other features of the solution include unlimited resources, an “intuitive control panel,” and elasticity.
As a company, eUKhost’s solutions include shared and reseller hosting, dedicated servers, VPS, and cloud.
eUKhost launched in 2001 and is located in Leeds, England. For more information on the company, visit: http://www.eukhost.com/
