(The Hosting News) – Competition between two of the web’s top hosting tutorial companies will cease following a joining of forces between the two. DemoWolf recently revealed its acquisition of DemoDemo.com, another hosting tutorial provider.
For now, the tutorial providers are expected to operate independently (although now falling under one ownership).
Meanwhile, DemoWolf CEO Rob Moore expressed optimism on the matter, stating, “With the introduction of professional voice narration, and developing a tutorial branding system that is completely automated and controlled by our clients, DemoWolf provides additional services that were unavailable to DemoDemo clients… until now.”
DemoDemo launched around nine years ago, providing flash tutorials focused on web hosting. Both companies’ tutorials cover similar topics, including cPanel, Parallels, and more.
Despite the news surrounding the acquisition, it’s not the only thing DemoWolf revealed. The company also announced the addition of a new web address (iDemo.com). However, it remains unclear what it will be used for.
In 2008, DemoWolf acquired CheapDemos and OnlyDemos. For more information on the acquisition, visit: http://www.demowolf.com/blog/2011/09/demowolf-acquires-demodemo-com-idemos-com/
