The price required to maintain Facebook servers will decrease by 24% while the efficiency rate will increase by 38%. Facebook servers help transmit and store millions of users’ information.
The company publicly released the new design plans at OpenCompute.org. The move to post the plans publicly received positive reaction from online analysts. The new data center will be located in Prineville, Oregon.
