(The Hosting News) – Hosting provider Fibernet on Monday revealed a new feature to its data center infrastructure, announcing UPS, otherwise known as “uninterrupted power supply.”
Among the company’s services are cloud, dedicated and virtual.
“With the addition of another UPS to our data center, we continue our pledge to absolute redundancy,” remarked Fibernet CEO Lane Livingston in a press release.
“One of our main points of focus has always been to provide the most reliable, consistent service to our Colocation and hosting customers. Another UPS adds an extra layer of insurance to protect our customers against any fluctuations in power,” Livingston went on to say.
UPS is used by the company in case of power outages – thus serving as a temporary power supply.
