(The Hosting News) – FireHost, a provider of secure cloud hosting recently discussed changes to its storage platform via the company’s blog.
The company’s secure cloud solution is scalable while providing enterprise security along with management support. What does the availability of scalability mean? It allows cloud users to change cloud options dependent on emerging issues like an expected traffic increase.
FireHost recently implemented an additional scaling option along with the company’s cloud storage solution.
The new option is Scheduled Scaling, which allows cloud users to adjust resources by scheduling in advance.
Meanwhile, the company’s two other scaling options include auto scaling (automatically adds resources to handle spikes) and manual scanning (manual adjustment).
Aside from scaling options, additional changes to FireHost’s cloud storage platform entail cloud speed and stability.
“Over the past year FireHost’s secure hosting environment has experienced tremendous growth as customers increasingly demand the scalability and control of the cloud in a secure hosting environment,” the company recently stated in a blog post.
With that being said, the company has added a new storage platform. It’s the Dell Compellent SAN + Brocade Fibre Channel, which the company emphasizes will help users have “Peace of mind” through performance.
