(The Hosting News) – Imagine transforming a credit card-sized device like Raspberry Pi into your own personal web server. Well, the possibility is now a reality and it’s all thanks to developers at Google’s Creative Lab.
On Thursday, company technologist Jason Striegel announced a solution called “Coder,” a program you simply download, place on an SD card and plug into Raspberry Pi.
Striegel says the idea resulted from a “quick sprint” with design friend Jeff Baxter.
Meanwhile, the developer is looking for help from the open source and makers communities to pitch in and make it even more accessible. For more information, view Striegel’s blog post here (googledevelopers.blogspot.se).
