Amazon has been allowing customers to ship high-capacity storage server to them for data upload to the cloud for a while now. However, recently, they announced they will offer the same service, but in reverse. Instead of shipping your server to them, they will ship your data from the AWS environment to you.
This will help to save quite a bit of time considering transferring 100TB of data over a WAN takes over 100 days. Uploading this much data to two Snowball appliances and shipping them to the customer takes much less time.
