(The Hosting News) – In conjunction with The Business Journal’s Social Madness competition dedicated server, cloud and infrastructure services provider, Hivelocity, has launched a new social media campaign targeting new and existing customers.
Hivelocity is engaging its customers via their Twitter, Facebook and G+ accounts allowing customers to request a personalized picture be taken of their dedicated server or ever direct a 6 second Vine video at the server’s rack. Customer requests so far have ranged from a simple picture of the server with the owner’s logo to more elaborate requests for Vine videos with Hivelocity employees posing at the server.
“99% of the time customers never get to see the actual products they are purchasing from their host. We are very proud of our data center and the systems we deploy every day for customers. This campaign is really a win win in our eyes. We get to show off our data center and hardware and our customers finally have a way to see the dedicated servers they are paying for,” says Hivelocity Sales Manager Drew Adams.
Hivelocity is hoping to garner enough votes to win the Social Madness competition organized by The Business Journal. Hivelocity is competing in the Large Business category of Tampa. You can vote for Hivelocity at http://www.bizjournals.com/tampabay/socialmadness. The contest is designed to pit companies against each other and see which best utilizes social media.
