(The Hosting News) – InfoRelay Online Systems, Inc., a leading provider of on-demand data center and colocation services today announced a launch event for the newest addition to their data center portfolio, Dulles Exchange, which officially opened its doors to customers in May this year.
Located within the Dulles technology corridor in Herndon, Virginia, the new facility caters to medium and large enterprises that require a commitment to in-depth technical support and mission-critical power, cooling, and network connectivity. The new location is also home to InfoRelay’s headquarters and will help the company to accommodate their recent growth and future plans for expansion.
The inaugural event marks a milestone for InfoRelay as the facility is the company’s first data center to be fully designed and managed in-house. “By fully managing our own data center, we’ve been able to bolster our position in the market as a full-service data center service provider and provide the best possible infrastructure and customer service.” stated Russell Weiss, President of InfoRelay. “We are overjoyed to be able to celebrate the launch of our facility and share our excitement with the community.”
The launch event will feature exclusive networking opportunities with invited guests including the area’s top tech executives, in-depth data center tours covering everything from the InfoRelay network to the facility’s electrical infrastructure, and barbeque sandwiches, desserts, and drinks provided by North Carolina Bar-B-Que. A raffle will be held, and guests that tour the facility will be entered to win one of three prizes at the end of the evening.
Cisco Systems has agreed to sponsor the event. Guests will be able to get an in-depth look at how Cisco’s leading high availability network solutions are integrated with InfoRelay redundant multi-homed network to create a 99.999% uptime guarantee. Cisco, the leader in edge network routing, will be demoing the latest in core network technology.
Ekinops, a leading provider of next-generation optical transport hardware, will also be a sponsor at the event. Helping to power InfoRelay’s regional networks and allow InfoRelay to transit up to 400Gbps of data between its locations, Ekinops plays an integral part in allowing network providers to scale up instead of out and will also be providing some insights and information on its product line.
A broad range of services are available at InfoRelay’s new data center, including 24x7x365 customer support, colocation and dedicated servers, high-speed bandwidth and connectivity options, data backup and recovery, and private and public cloud services.
The grand opening event is scheduled for June 28, 2012. Guests or clients interested in attending the launch event can request an invitation. Please contact sales(at)inforelay(dot)com for more information on our services or to schedule a private tour.
