(The Hosting News) – Today brought news of a partnership between two companies working together to provide for one area of hosting solutions: privately hosted clouds.
Data center solutions innovator Telx announced that it will work with cloud solutions company Hexagrid to enable Telx’s colocation users to take advantage of Hexagrid’s cloud software.
Commenting on the matter in a press release, Telx Director of Cloud, SaaS, and Media Darryl Brown stated, “Telx is working with Hexagrid to further advance our goal to become the destination for cloud enablement for our customers.”
Brown continued, “Working with partners such as Hexagrid helps us better serve our client needs and the fast-growing cloud community of interest the Telx cloudXchange, by enabling rapid provisioning of Hexagrid’s VxDatacenter platform on optimized, standardized hardware in our Cloud Connection Centers.”
Telx, a provider of colocation has fifteen data center facilities throughout the United States.
Meanwhile, Hexagrid CFO Joseph Seibel expressed optimism over the partnership, stating, “This relationship presents an ideal solution for MSPs and enterprises seeking faster and simpler ways to build premium, customized private clouds that maximize business value in the locations where they need them to be.”
One of Hexagrid’s notable cloud products is VxDatacenter, an IaaS solution. The software enables virtualization and cloud management.
