(The Hosting News) – Popular script library provider Softaculous announced the latest versions of two of its software platforms on Wednesday. Included in the updates are cloud app deployment enabler Webuzo and software stack AMPPS.
Specifically, the updates give the platforms the feature of the NoSQL Database, a data management system.
Aside from the new version of Webuzo (release 1.5), Sofaculous has made a release of the platform free with Softaculous COO Pulkit Gupta calling the solution “one of the best LAMP stacks available.”
The company’s Webuzo Cloud Service works particularly well with clouds, virtual machines and servers to assist in the area of app deployment. Applications pertain to areas including blog platforms (such as WordPress), forums, portals/CMS, social networking and much more. The Webuzo Cloud is especially notable for its compatibility with Amazon Web Services.
Discussing Webuzo in a press release, Softaculous Ltd. Webuzo Developer Valerian Pereira stated, “Webuzo is especially beneficial to SMB’s and Enterprises as they will not have to spend time installing Apache, MySQL, PHP, PERL, Python, NoSQL seperately and also they can install various collaboration tools, wikis, ERP software, etc. by the click of a button.”
Meanwhile, AMPPS allows users to run services including Mysql, Python, PHP, Apache and Perl from the comfort of their own desktops. The latest release of AMPPS is version 1.6.
Software platforms by Softaculous have considerably grown since the company initially launched. Early last month the company announced that it had reached a milestone of 260 apps made available via its solutions. For more information regarding Softaculous, visit: http://www.softaculous.com.
