(The Hosting News) – Layered Tech Chief Risk Officer Jeff Reich will give a presentation on cloud security challenges and solutions at the ACA Annual Convention & Expo on July 15 in San Diego. The ACA convention brings together professionals from the credit and collection industry including compliance officers, general counsel, technology executives and others with a keen interest in information security issues.
Reich’s presentation will help conference attendees understand the major types of cloud services and how security and compliance risks vary across the different cloud types. Reich will show how leading cloud providers mitigate those risks, and discuss what businesses with stringent security and compliance requirements should look for in a cloud provider. While addressing the risks associated with moving critical business data into the cloud, Reich will also discuss the distinctive advantages that cloud services have over conventional on-premise infrastructures when it comes to safeguarding data.
Joining Reich as co-presenters will be Rick Clark, Corporate Security Manager for Ontario Systems, a leading provider of technology and services for accounts receivable management and healthcare collections; and Ryan Egerdahl, Information Security Officer for Convergent Outsourcing.
