(The Hosting News) – Internet operator Level 3 on Monday announced the addition of a new data center facility located in Bogota, Columbia.
Citing “increased demand for IT services,” the company noted the location would become “operational” during this year’s second quarter. In total, the facility supports managed services and covers 500 square-meters.
In a press release, Luis Carlos Guerrero, a sales VP for the company said the area “shows a growing demand for colocation, housing, hosting and value-added services.”
Guerrero continued, “The trend to outsource these services to a trusted business partner – one that will support the customer in its expansion strategy – is crucial for companies today so they can focus on their core business.
Level 3’s services include data, voice, video, cloud, security and more.
