(The Hosting News) – Linxter, Inc., provider of message-oriented cloud middleware, today announced that Founder and CEO Jason Milgram will be a panelist at the Multi-tenant Applications on Windows Azure session at the upcoming Microsoft 2011 MVP Global Summit.
Milgram will review how his team developed a flexible, affordable in-app purchasing solution for Android and Windows Phone 7 smart phones, using Windows Azure and Linxter’s secure, reliable cloud messaging platform. In-app purchasing allows businesses to offer digital assets or subscriptions for purchase within an app, via credit card or email invoicing. Milgram will explain how businesses can create multi-tenant solutions on Azure.
“Windows Azure, a cloud operating services model, is unique in the cloud computing market space,” stated Milgram. “Azure not only eliminates the need for new infrastructure, but also removes the system administration and the accompanying change management hazards. You write your app, deploy it, and you don’t have to worry about it.”
“Linxter is one of a handful of start-ups we invited into the Microsoft BizSpark One program,” said Christopher Griffin, Microsoft’s Senior Manager of Strategic & Emerging Business Development. “They were chosen based on their potential to impact the market, and their upcoming in-app purchasing solution running on Azure is poised to do just that.”
The MVP Global Summit is an invitation-only conference, and all attendees are required to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements. The multi-day event, which attracts attendees from around the world, is hosted in Bellevue and at Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, Washington.
