(The Hosting News) – Logicalis Group, the international IT and Communications solutions integrator, has acquired Netarx, an Auburn Hills, Michigan-based solution provider. Netarx provides IT professional services including managed services, data center, collaboration, and infrastructure design solutions to customers throughout the Great Lakes and Arizona.
This acquisition builds upon Logicalis’ existing strong Midwestern presence by expanding its IT consulting and services business, enhancing Logicalis’ Managed Services capabilities and adding a robust Tier 1 Service Desk. The acquisition will also provide Netarx clients with access to Logicalis’ outsourced services, cloud computing and data center management solutions across the United States.
Netarx was founded in 1997 with a focus on the rapidly developing and growing network convergence market. The company is known for industry-leading IT services delivery, innovative tools used to monitor mission critical network environments and remote operations services that help clients take a proactive approach to IT. Since its founding the company has grown to achieve annualized revenues of nearly $60 million.
“Logicalis is committed to providing the most reliable and intelligent IT services to our customers wherever they may be located. Our roots in the U.S. were laid in Michigan nearly 15 years ago and the Netarx acquisition continues our growth in the Michigan market while blending important skill sets and methodologies that enhance our service offering across all of Logicalis’ geographies,” said Terry Flood, president and CEO of Logicalis, Inc. “Netarx brings nearly 170 technical and services delivery professionals to Logicalis’ already strong international technical team. We are excited to work together to deliver the best IT services to all of our clients.”
“For Netarx the merger with Logicalis is the culmination of our business development,” said Duane Tursi, Principal of Netarx. “The combination of Logicalis’ international presence, financial strength, longevity and technical expertise are key ingredients of our decision to become part of the Logicalis family. Logicalis’ customer-focused strategy, commitment to their employees and remarkably similar corporate culture inspire tremendous excitement about our future together,” continued Tursi.
“Netarx’s geographic alignment, local brand recognition, proven track record and IT services in collaboration, data center and managed services, will bring a wealth of IT expertise to the Logicalis team,” said Sandy Kronenberg, Principal of Netarx. “Together we will accelerate growth, share best practices, and enrich our combined organizations’ strengths creating an enterprise in which the combined sum total is much greater than our individual contributions,” added Kronenberg.
In addition to Netarx’s significant presence in Michigan, the company has technical and sales staff in Arizona, Indiana and Ohio, providing geographic alignment and growth for Logicalis’ existing offices in those metropolitan areas.
