(The Hosting News) – Enterprises needing help with the deployment of mobile apps now have increased support thanks to a new data center recently launched by mobile app solutions provider Flowfinity.
The facility is located in Toronto, Canada.
Both isolated networks and dedicated systems are used by the data center, which is supported by the company’s other facility in Vancouver in case of the need for disaster recovery.
“Given the rapid adoption of mobile apps in the enterprise, we have seen increased demand for quick, managed deployments, allowing our customers to realize the benefits of our software within a shorter timeframe,” commented Flowfinity CEO Dmitry Mikhailov in a press release concerning the matter.
Mikhailov continued, “With this new Toronto data center we will support our growing enterprise customer base and our initiative to expand managed services offerings.”
Flowfinity emphasizes that the company allows its users to have “full control over their data without having to incur the cost of acquiring or managing the infrastructure.”
The need for decreased IT costs was cited by the company as a reason for the facility’s launch.
Some of the Flowfinity’s most high-profile customers have included Heinz and Bacardi. Earlier this year in June, the company announced its compatibility with Android-based devices. Windows Mobile, iOS (Apple), and Rim BlackBerry are supported by the company as well.
Aside from North America, the Vancouver-based company has a presence in other locations including Europe and Australia. For more information on Flowfinity, visit: http://www.flowfinity.com/
