(The Hosting News) – Just one week after hosting company, Network Solutions was able to fend off a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack, the company announced on Monday that it is experiencing latency issues for customers using MySQL.
“Some hosting customers using MySQL are reporting issues with the speed with which their websites are resolving,” the company posted on Facebook according to PC Magazine. “Some sites are loading slowly; others are not resolving. We’re aware of the issue, and our technology team is working on it now.”
Several customers however, reported issues before Network Solutions announced it was under a cyberattack. Some customers wrote the company experiencing problems with publishing their websites the day before.
Some customers responded to the Facebook post reporting problems that dated back to a scheduled maintenance period that occurred July 5th. The company had previously warned its customers that they may experience service interruptions between 10:00 pm EST on July 5th and 7:00am on July 6th.
In July, Network Solutions came under a DDoS attack that was fixed a day later and apologized to its customers a few days after the issue was resolved.
