News: BlueHost, HostMonster Web Hosting Firms, Collaborate Platforms, Report Growth
News
Orem, Utah - (The Hosting News) - January 8, 2008 - Shared website hosting and domain registration services firms, BlueHost Inc. and HostMonster Inc., have collaborated web hosting platforms, reportedly surpassing 700,000 domains, representing a 33 percent increase in size since September of 2007.

The companies have reported a growth resulting in 175,000 new domains hosted during the last quarter. Matt Heaton CEO and Founder of BlueHost and HostMonster noted, ''Its easy for a small company to say they have grown by 25 percent, 50 percent or even 100 percent in a quarter when they are talking about a few thousand customers. What really starts turning heads is when you can say, we just grew by 175,000 domains last quarter and the first 525,000 took us 4 years. Now that is real growth.''

During the past few months, BlueHost and Hostmonster have grown their product offerings via partnerships with leading companies. Some of the new services include spam protection, coupons for free PPC advertising credits, powerful shopping carts and merchant account services. BlueHost and HostMonster have also made great strides to meet the growing needs of their customer base while continuing to provide an enormous value for their clients.

Mr. Heaton continued, ''Our current growth pattern has positioned us as a leader in this market. We have already passed up our main competitors and now we have our eyes fixed on becoming the number one hosting company in the world.''

Mr. Heaton also announced the launch of www.fastdomain.com. The entity, which is an ICANN accredited domain registrar, plans to offer domain registration and management services along with quality hosting solutions. Over the past year FastDomain has only provided services for the BlueHost and HostMonster brands but is now preparing to open their services to the general public.

Mr. Heaton added, ''We have become one of the fastest growing registrars in the world this year and that has all taken place behind the scenes. When we open up the service to the general public, we plan to have that growth accelerate to match our other brands.''

HostMonster has been providing hosting solutions to thousands of business and personal web sites since 1996, with Internet hosting packages designed to help businesses and individuals achieve high-powered service at cost reductions.

BlueHost, established in 2003, is a provider of shared web hosting and domain registration services targeted at the consumer and small business market. Based in Orem, Utah, BlueHost is home to over 150,000 domains. BlueHost has developed a reputation for exceptional customer service, exemplified by the company's renewal rate, which comes in at well over 90%. The company has been the proud recipient of numerous industry accolades.
