launch of a Voice over Internet Protocol subsidiary, making it the first Canadian
web host to do so.
The plans for the company’s VoIP subsidiary, MonsterVoIP (http://www.monstervoip.ca),
were announced in late September. Its website was launched on October 3, 2005.
According to Rainer Schmoll, CEO of MonsterVoIP, ”The response has already been excellent. We are already exceeding all of our expectations
in terms of customer signups.”
MonsterVoIP is targeting the small and home office market, (SOHO), by offering
rollover monthly VoIP minutes, making it the first VoIP company to do so.
