Cisco, along with representatives from IBM and Emerson, will showcase the alignment of the data center IT infrastructure environment, as to how it relates to business organization objectives. Gartner recommends that IT organizations improve the operational efficiency and utilization of data center resources, while simultaneously building infrastructure that protects applications and services against disruptions and security attacks.

Cisco will demonstrate Data Center Network Architecture (DCNA) solutions, designed to enable IT organizations with siloed monolithic systems, to create service-centric resources, including standardized components. In addition, the session will also describe a way to employ consolidation, virtualization, and automation technologies, in order to compile resources through an intelligent network.
