London, England – (The Hosting News) – October 18, 2005 – European colocation, data center and managed services company, TeleCity, has announced that BT has selected its core infrastructure services and fibre connectivity to help facilitate broadcasting of the 2006 Winter Olympics, which takes place in Turin, Italy from February 10â€“26, 2006.
BT is providing European connectivity to cover the XXth Olympic Winter Games. In the run up to and duration of the Games, TeleCity will provide fibre connectivity between BT servers and Telecom Italia’s network in its Harbour Exchange data center in London.
