Kansas City, Missouri (March 22, 2005) FuseMail®, LLC (www.fusemail.com), a leading email service provider, announced today the release of their 2.0 Webmail Application,
the second generation of their unique webmail client. The new version
bridges the gap between the functionality of a desktop email client and
the typical webmail interface by introducing desktop-based e-mail
features at the web level. Such innovative features include right
click, drag n’ drop, task bar, windows support, and instant messaging
all on the web. “We believe this release dramatically enhances the
webmail experience.” commented Bryan Heitman, President of FuseMail.
The new version 2.0 application is the product of significant
research and development based on user feedback and customer surveys.
This application adds more to an already rich set of features found
only at FuseMail such as Email Client Acceleration technology for IMAP,
email client search folders, and email client RSS feed aggregation.
FuseMail 2.0 has dramatic speed improvements due to its client-side
processing. Users will find that mail events and commands happen
instantaneously as if they were using an e-mail client on their
Taskbar & Windows
The new 2.0 interface features a taskbar similar to your desktop that
allows you to minimize and restore windows. This allows users to
quickly jump between composing an email or multiple emails while
referencing other content within their web client such as old emails,
notes, contacts, or appointments.
From the taskbar users will enjoy a
built-in instant messaging tool. This IM client fosters real-time
communication with other FuseMail clients and also the Jabber Instant
“I am thrilled with the interface enhancements in v2.0. Coming from a
web developer, you have done very well on the interface.” writes Danny
Peck a customer of FuseMail who along with hundreds of others has sent
positive feedback upon the new release.
With the announcement last year of GmailTM by Google® the competition
in the consumer email market is fierce. FuseMail focuses on the
business email and power user who want more from their email
experience. They provide an excellent alternative to expensive in-house
email software and ISP email accounts.
“We believe that FuseMail has become the obvious choice for business
email for small and medium sized businesses looking for a complete
outsourced email solution. The alternative options include expensive
hardware & software that must be maintained by IT professionals.
Many small businesses that do not have an IT department will feel
comfortable at FuseMail with an easy to follow new interface to
configure their outsourced email with premium technical support to back
them up.” remarked Bryan Heitman, President of FuseMail, LLC. FuseMail
provides small to medium business and families a Group level service
where users can add sub email accounts to share and collaborate email,
calendar, appointments, notes, and other data with one another at the
click of a button.
