SureHost Managed Exchange, its expanded and packaged hosted solution for
Microsoft Exchange 2003. The offering provides Surebridge customers three
functional levels: Standard, Enhanced and Premium, each offered at a competitive
price. The announcement is part of Surebridge’s ongoing enhancements to its
Managed Services offerings, one of several key growth drivers for the company in
— Standard – this level is ideal for organizations requiring mobile access
to their mail server without the added expense and complexity of supporting the
full Outlook client. Shared calendaring, personal tasks and public folders are
all supported via Outlook Web Access.
— Enhanced – this level is ideal for organizations requiring additional
connectivity options, added flexibility of an offline client and custom forms
support, which are available when using the full Outlook desktop client and
Outlook Web Access.
— Premium – this dedicated Exchange option is available for organizations
requiring the highest levels of flexibility, control and integration
capabilities to third-party solutions.
Pricing for the Standard option starts at a monthly fee of $9.95 per user,
which includes all required license fees. There is an additional one-time set-up
fee starting at $9 per user. A minimum of 20 named users is required for
Standard and Enhanced functional levels. Pricing for the Premium offering is
server-based and does not require a minimum user count. For companies looking
for the most advanced support options, 24/7 support offerings are available.
Add-on options include spam filtering, which is available for all three
offerings, and Blackberry integration, available for Enhanced and Premium
levels. Add-on options can be purchased for additional fees. In addition, data
migration from Exchange 5.5 or 2000 to Exchange 2003 is also available, with
pricing starting at $50 per mailbox.
