News: HostMySite.com Web Hosting Firm, Gains Former Hewlett Packard Executive

Los Angeles, California - (The Hosting News) - March 13, 2008 - HostMySite.com web hosting provider for small and medium-sized businesses, has named a new Vice President of Software Development. The addition of former Monster.com executive, Don MacIntyre, continues an expansion of the managed dedicated server firm's executive team, that began last year.

Prior to joining HostMySite.com, Mr. MacIntyre was the founder and CEO of AgileBootCamp.com. Among a variety of activities, the firm consulted with Fidelity Investments to help move their software teams toward Agile methodologies. Mr. MacIntyre consulted personally with multiple groups within Fidelity, acting as an Agile Coach and providing training to senior staff members.

Mr. MacIntyre also previously served as Director of Engineering for Monster.com where he led the development of Monster.com Employer products. Prior to his tenure at Monster.com, Mr. MacIntyre held numerous senior software management positions within Hewlett Packard (HP), including leading the team that developed the HP OpenView Transaction Analyzer, which monitors distributed web applications. Also while at HP, Mr. MacIntyre won an award for Management Innovation for his direction of HP's UNIX Portability program.

In addition to his considerable Internet and Agile software development background, Mr. MacIntyre brings a wealth of experience running large International software organizations focused on delivering high-availability solutions for large enterprise customers.

Previously this year, web hosting industry veteran, Derek Vaughan, joined HostMySite.com as Vice President of Marketing. According to the company, another key role has been created at HostMySite.com and is currently in the hiring search process - that of Director of Product Development. The company had stated that the position will be likely be filled by an experienced hosting industry veteran in the next couple of months.
