Newark, Delaware - (The Hosting News) - February 14, 2008 - HostMySite.com web hosting provider for small and medium-sized businesses, has successfully completed an SAS 70 Type II audit, through the assistance of the Clifton Gunderson, LLP independent auditing firm.

Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70, commonly referred to as SAS 70, is an auditing statement developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). SAS 70 is designed to allow auditors to review the controls established by service organizations. Independent auditors review the control objectives and activities to ensure the controls are valid and enforced.

HostMySite.com completed the SAS 70 audit of its internal control environment. Clifton Gunderson audited the company's processes and policies to ensure compliance and consistency with the documented controls. The audit consisted of onsite audit reviews and testing, plus detailed meetings with the HostMySite.com management team.
