Clifton Park, New York – (The Hosting News) – December 30, 2005 – The co-founder and CEO of web hosting company, HostRocket, has been named to the “Tech Valley’s Hot 10” list for 2005. HostRocket’s CEO, Brendan Brader, is the youngest of the influential leaders highlighted in the prestigious list this year – at just 24 years of age.
“Tech Valley’s Hot 10” list is compiled annually by the Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce with assistance from local media. It names the technology executives and leaders in New York’s Tech Valley which are considered to be the most influential for the year.
Mr. Brader co-founded HostRocket in 1999, just after graduating from high school. Since that time, the company has grown to become one of the top web hosting providers in the industry and has hosted more than 50,000 websites from its high-end facility in the Tech Valley.
With its upcoming launch of new service Rocket Freedom, the company continues to set a high standard for web hosting providers everywhere with constant innovation. Earlier this year HostRocket launched sister company ViaTalk LLC, which provides VoIP (Voice Over IP) telephone service. The service allows customers to use standard telephones with their broadband Internet connection to make and receive telephone calls. Since the calls are transmitted using the Internet, consumers can get service packages that include unlimited calling for under 16 dollars monthly.
Both companies are lead on a daily basis by Brader with assistance from Timothy Dick who serves as Vice President of Operations and John Reyes who serves as Chief Technical Officer. When his selection for the Hot 10 list was announced, Mr. Brader commented, ”I’m thrilled that we are able to have such a profound impact on the Tech Valley, the local economy, and the lives of our customers.” His vision and commitment to excellence continue to further propel the unprecedented growth and success of the companies.
