solutions, today announced its Managed Service Provider (MSP) Partner
Program, designed to give MSPs an easy way to offer Proofpoint’s
messaging security solutions to their customers as a scalable, managed
solution. Components of this innovative program include a simple,
high-margin pricing model, on-site technical training, 24×7 support,
incentive programs that reward high-performing partners, lead sharing,
co-marketing support and access to an online partner portal.

Managed service providers in Proofpoint’s MSP Partner Program can use
the Proofpoint Protection Server(R) software or Proofpoint Messaging
Security Gateway(TM) appliance to provide their customers with a
complete anti-spam, anti-virus and content security solution, powered
by patent-pending Proofpoint MLX(TM) machine learning technology. MSPs
can host multiple customers on a single appliance or software
deployment in a shared (or “multi-tenant”) model, providing attractive
economies of scale. For larger accounts, or for customers with special
security considerations, MSPs can also offer Proofpoint solutions in a
dedicated or on-premise managed model.

New York-based managed service provider INVISION (www.invision.com)
recently started offering Proofpoint as a managed service using
Proofpoint Protection Server in both shared and dedicated deployments.
