News: Dedicated Server Solution, Selected as Exclusive, from SoftLayer Web Hosting
News
Dallas, Texas - (The Hosting News) - April 21, 2008 - On-demand hosting services and virtual data center provider for the small to medium enterprise (SME), SoftLayer, has been selected in a long-term partnership with EIRCA Ltd., as the company's exclusive dedicated server provider.

EIRCA's existing servers will migrate to SoftLayer facilities, where all new servers will be deployed as well. The partnership also makes EIRCA the SoftLayer's preferred partner for customers deploying managed H-Sphere Clusters.

Simon O'Rourke, Founder and CEO of EIRCA noted, ''We searched for a data center provider that shares our philosophy towards customer service, with an infrastructure we can deliver to our customers with 100% confidence. After testing multiple providers over several years, we found SoftLayer to be the best.''

Lance Crosby, CEO of SoftLayer remarked, ''EIRCA has been a great partner over the last few months. Formalizing our relationship was a natural next step.''

EIRCA currently serves over 105,000 domains and has supported H-Sphere clusters for international customers since 2002. It leverages SoftLayer's network-within-a-network topology for secure and fast data movement between H-Sphere servers residing in all of SoftLayer's data centers.

H-Sphere, now owned by Parallels, is a scalable automation control panel for multi-server web hosting services and powers over approximately 1.7 million websites.

Kurt Daniel, Senior Vice President of marketing and online, Parallels commented, ''H-Sphere allows clients to create a reliable hosting infrastructure for their clients. We will continue to work with Softlayer to provide new features and product improvements for all Parallels products, including those recently acquired.''

EIRCA joins the growing list of resellers, hosting companies, and managed services providers that are leveraging the world-class infrastructure that SoftLayer has invested in over the last several years. Mr. Crosby added, ''We see a tremendous opportunity, as our model of on-demand IT adds even more value to our partners' core businesses.''

The mission of establishing EIRCA Ltd. has been premium technical support and complete automation. The company is best known for its specific dedication to clustered web hosting on the H-Sphere platform.

Headquartered in Plano, Texas, SoftLayer provides next-generation web hosting and on-demand datacenter services on a global basis from facilities located in Dallas, TX and Seattle, WA. Utilizing proprietary management tools coupled with the industry's first network-within-a-network topology, the company delivers unprecedented power and control to securely manage IT environments while providing unparalleled scalability.
