Doug Bell Joins as Vice President of Sales, Roy Saar Appointed Vice President of International Sales

Doug Bell, a 25-year veteran of telecommunications and technology sales, joins Sphera as Vice President of Sales in the Americas. Previously, Bell held senior positions at Teletech Holdings, Qwest Cyber Solutions, US West !nterprise Networking Services, and Objective Systems Integrators. At Teletech Holdings Bell was instrumental in acquiring significant revenues from key players in the telecom and cable industries. At Qwest Cyber Solutions, Bell, a founding member of the company, held the position of Vice President of Sales, growing the companyÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s revenue from zero to $140 million dollars before the company was sold to Corio. Earlier in his career, Bell honed his technical and sales skills in positions at companies such as Paradyne Networks, Teledyne Corporation and Pacific Bell.
Roy Saar, a founding member of Sphera since 1998, has been appointed Vice President of International Sales. Saar had held a number of key roles in the company in marketing, operations, product management and sales since its inception. Prior to founding Sphera, Saar oversaw sales and marketing in Israel for R.J. Reynolds, driving revenue to $25 million dollars. Saar is a graduate of Tel Aviv University and the Wharton-Recanati International Marketing Partnership, a unique collaboration between the Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration, at Tel Aviv University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
