UK managed services company, Attenda Limited, has achieved certification to ISO/IEC
27001, the global information security standard, from the British Standards
The standard was adopted by the International Organization for
Standardization (ISO) on 15 October 2005 and replaces the previous British
Standard, BS 7799 Part 2.
According to Mark Fowle, Chief Executive Officer at Attenda, ”The security of information needs to be a core attribute of any business.

Attenda was an early adopter of the original BS 7999 standard and was one of
the first companies to achieve certification when it was initially launched.
