The viaVerio Partner Summit, ''Welcome to the Services Evolution,'' hosted a gathering of viaVerio partner executives and professionals at The Venetian Resort and Casino in Las Vegas Nevada. The two day conference addressed how solution provider partners can leverage online business enablement services for customers, as well as for businesses. Attendees will be offered unparalleled exposure to top industry practitioners and thought leaders, and granted exclusive previews of key product developments and initiatives. Verio's Partner Summit took place immediately following Tier1 Research's 2007 Hosting Transformation Summit, laying the foundation for industry trends and predictions.

At the first annual viaVerio Partner Summit, solution provider attendees gained unique perspectives on the latest online business trends from industry leaders. The event also featured viaVerio partners who discussed and shared individual paths to success. In addition, Verio featured 16 unique breakout sessions across four different tracks to arm attendees with practical, actionable information that can be used to create and drive personal company roadmaps. Event keynote speakers included Jeff Kaplan, founder and managing director of strategic consulting firm THINKstrategies, who spoke to solution provider attendees on the progression of businesses from providing web hosting to the business services that are increasingly required by their customers. Philbert Shih, research analyst with Tier1 Research broached the topic of the evolution of the hosting industry to a business solutions model.
