Arlington County, Virginia – (The Hosting News) – March 24, 2006 – Web-based business intelligence reporting and analysis company, LogiXML, has become an application
partner with database and integration software firm, InterSystems.
Under the agreement, LogiXML will embed InterSystems Corporation’s CACHE as the database engine and
caching server for the LGX Info TURBO web-based enterprise reporting solution.
InterSystems develops and markets the CACHE post-relational database and Ensemble universal integration platform worldwide. LogiXML is a fast growing developer of a pure web-based and unified Business Intelligence reporting platform that organizations use to leverage the value of their data.
LogiXML CEO Arman Eshraghi commented, ”LGX Info TURBO builds on LogiXML’s web-based reporting and Business Intelligence expertise to offer reporting and database functionality. For example, LGX Info’s Analysis Grid allows report users to interactively and rapidly create customized data columns, aggregations, cross-tab tables and data filters for a virtually unlimited number of records. Integrating the Analysis Grid with a powerful CACHE back-end database engine provides report users with the ability to run reports on large datasets at extremely fast speeds.”
According to the company, LGX Info TURBO provides a reporting server with a built-in data warehousing solution that features a report-oriented approach versus a database-oriented approach. LGX Info TURBO uses the report ”definition” to automatically build a report-optimized data model and perform the necessary computations in advance. This approach delivers fast and reliable data warehouse capability without the cost of developing a complex database architecture design and optimization process.
Paul Grabscheid, InterSystems Vice President of Strategic Planning added, ”Many of our customers are planning to add web-based reporting solutions to their applications. LogiXML’s innovative approach to efficient design, deployment and enhancement of reporting applications complements InterSystems’ commitment to enabling rapid application development and deployment. The new LGX Info TURBO is an outstanding example of the power of this partnership.”
Mr. Eshraghi continued, ”LogiXML realizes that the majority of affordably-priced report servers cannot perform well for reports with more than 100,000 rows and that there is a growing need for creating multi-million row reports — dynamically and interactively. That is where CACHE as a post-relational and scalable data processing engine has been able to help LogiXML to present such a unique and powerful, yet affordable, reporting engine to the market.”
LogiXML has become a member of InterSystems’ CACHE Technology Partners program and will participate at the InterSystems DEVCON 2006 developer conference March 26th – March 29th, 2006 at The Westin at Mission Hills in Rancho Mirage, California.
